: (1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this rule, an official who is directly involved in the work related to the registration and regulation of cooperative organizations, who is elected or nominated, or who is holding a public office of the Government of Nepal, State Government or local level. An employee working in an office or agency cannot be elected or nominated to the committee of the cooperative organization or the audit supervision committee.
(2) If, at the commencement of this rule, the officer or employee mentioned in sub-rule (1) is in the committee or the audit supervision committee of a co-operative society and in the regulatory body of the co-operative society, within six months from the date of commencement of this rule, the committee or the audit supervision committee or any of such bodies Should be separated.
